You can start saying "Happy New Year" at 10m UTC/GMT on December 31st

And stop saying it at high noon on January 1 at GMT/UTC time!

Right now the New Year is being born in transition from 2018 to 2019.   There is a 27 hour window when on planet Earth it is both 2018 and 2019 at the same time.  Antarctica is the only place on land that have this phenomena happen for the longest duration of 24 hours, where the transition of years happens.

It starts every December 31st 10:00am GMT or UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) and the last embers of the year burn out January 1st at 12:00pm GMT or UTC.   Depending on your location on planet Earth, it could be 2018 or 2019!

Those of you living in NYC, DC, Boston (Eastern-Leo Time Zone) that means, the global transition of the 'annual synchronic-transitional phase' starts at 5am December 31st and ends 7am January 1st.  Basically the solar year from a global point of view is over at 7am.  But this post deals with the end of the Lunar phase from last year.  And the Original Testament put the Moon in charge of the night after all.

Like an snake coming out of its old skin, the transition period of Earth being on the cusp of two years lasts 27 hours.  Why not 24 hours, because the day has been official stretched out to 27hr time zones:  two extra time zones are in the South Pacific and UTC/GMT is a zero point time zone.   That means for 27hrs, the Earth is like crab coming out of its old shell, temporally speaking.

Consequently a day is more than just 24 hours.  December 31st actually lasts 51 hours on a global scale, as does every other day.  Here is the math there are 14 time zone hours forward from UTC and 12 after, plus the one time zone of 'ZERO ZULU' which all adds up to the 27 hour stretch.  But the last time zone hold on to the day for 24 hours.  Thus 27 plus 24 makes a total of 51 hours for a day to be officially in existence.

Baby Boomer, Gen-X, Millenial?  Whatever!  A new group of people who identify as being outside their official generational designation are  "Trans-temporal".  Neither Gen-X nor Bi-Millenial (Bi-Millenial since all true millenials are dead, the most famous being Lief-Ericson, Pope Sylvester II and Aethelred II).

Diseveralploid

Diseveralploid is when heptaploid or septaploid are double during motosis.  This happens just after metaphase until cytokinesis.

Finally a several root word to refer to seven, but doubled with the prefix "di."

Hatsukaploid

Hatsukaploid is when decaploid cells are double during mitosis.  This happens after metaphase until cytokinesis.

The word is based upon the Japanese for for the 20th day of a month

Tennessexploid

New word to describe when octaploid or octopioid cells are double during mitosis.  This happens just after metaphase until cytokinesis.

The word stems from ten and six, while connecting itself to the 16th state of the union Tennessee.

Dozeploid

When hexaploid cells are double during mitotis, they are doceploid in between metaphase to cytokinesis.

Doceploid is based upon the Spanish for for 12, which is "doce" and link to the word dozen.

Jewploid

When pentaploid cells are are double their number during mitosis from Anaphase to cytokinesis.  The prefix is based upon the Japanese word for ten, "Jew".

Hachiploid

When tetraploid cells have double the numbers of cells during mitosis from metaphase to cytokinesis.

Ha is based on the number 8 in Japanese as Hachi.

Sexaploid

Stage of cells during mitosis when triploid cells are in transition between metaphase and cytokinesis.

Quadraploid - The Unnoticed State of CELLS

Cell are quadraploid just at the start of Anaphase until the end of Cytokinesis.  All bio texts underline that cells are haploid or diploid.  They forgot about the Quadraploid state, that is very short lived, when a human cell has 92  chromosomes.

We can't use tetraploid, because that mears something else.  Something similar but different.
