Cayambe is the Belly Button of the Earth

Cayambe in Ecuador is the only snow capped mountain-volcano along the Equator. Since it is the highest point on earth that is centered on the Equator, it deserves the title as Belly Button of the Earth. Since it is a volcano instead of regular peak like Mt Everest, Earth has an 'inny' belly button. However in second place, for the Belly Button of the Old World, is Mount Kenya and it is an 'outie' Belly Button.
